Equal sharing

As a part of Maths curriculum, equal sharing concept was introduced through beads sharing activity. Students picked up a number of beads and shared the equal amount to their partners. They counted the beads and then shared the half by subtracting.

As a part of Maths Curriculum, Students folded different shapes into their halves to show the halves of shapes.

VISIT TO TRAFFIC TRAINING PARK

Students were taken to the traffic training park in order to learn more about safety guidelines.
An introductory session by Mr. Manpreet Singh(instructor from HONDA) was taken to demonstrate the traffic sign board/symbols,rules and regulations. They also demonstrated safety rules while riding a cycle and a motorbike.
To have a quick recap of all of them, students were taken to the board game (snakes and ladders) and enjoyed flipping the dice and moving themselves as counters. In the end students got their pictures clicked in the family photo zone "I'm a safe rider". They were also given safety tips brochure along with a chocolate as a token of love from the Training park authorities.

TENS AND ONES

As a part of Maths curriculum, tens and ones activity was conducted.
The arrow cards ( place value cards) were placed in front of the students. They were asked to make some numbers such as 16, 24, 43, 87, etc. using their arrow cards. Each time they did this, they spoke the number then its parts, so for 16, they said "16, ten and six".
















Holi celebration
