As a part of science curriculum, students of stage 2 sorted the stones using water. They got to know that we dig some rocks out of the ground but we also get a lot of rock from rivers. They were given examples on how people have, for a very long time, used water to sort rocks and stone, especially sand and small stones. Some people even use this method to find gold in streams in some places in the world.
