Life cycle of a plant

Life cycle activity was conducted as a part of English curriculum- Life cycles. We planted a seed of a bean in a pot and the growth of the plant will be monitored daily. This activity was done to understand the concept of life cycle of a bean.

Materials we find

The students were taken to the science park in school to look for different materials for understanding of the Unit: ‘Materials in my world’. They looked at the things made from metals, paper, glass, rubber, fabric and concrete.

They learnt that there are lots of different materials around us. 

Children’s day celebrations

Students enjoyed this day reminiscing all the things that suffice the childhood at its best. A fun filled game was organised where they ran, crossed the hurdles, blew the bubbles, shared joys of laughter on swings with the peer group and were guided about the magnificent personality of Jawahar Lal Nehru.
