Months Of The Year

This activity was conducted to incorporate the concept 'sequencing of the months'. 
Month cards were kept in a circle and students chose their start month after that they threw a dice in a centre.
If the number thrown is 1,2 or 3 they jumped on to the next month. If the number thrown is 4,5 or 6, move back a month.

Story Enactment- Five friends and the Elephant

As a part of English curriculum, story- ‘Five friends and the elephant’ was enacted in class. Students enjoyed acting out the part of elephant and the blind friends. They learned how blind people use their other senses to get to know about things.

Lohri celebrations

LOHRI CELEBRATION!!

Students of Cambridge wing celebrated Lohri with a lot of exuberance and fanfare. The mood was upbeat and kids were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. Kids enjoyed dancing around the bonfire and relished groundnuts, rewari and popcorn.

Days of the week

As a part of Maths Curriculum, Students were shown card with the name of the day. The cards were put facedown and students had to come, pick up a card, read the day written and tell which day will come before/after that day.

Students now know the names of the days of a week and can recite them in order. They have also developed understanding of the cycle of a week.
