As a part of Maths curriculum, Finding totals concept was given through a Combining Machine. Students came in pairs and dropped 2 set of beads into the machine. They were asked the total that will come out of the machine. They found the total by counting the total number of beads that came in the tray.
For eg. 1 child has 3 purple beads. Another child has 4 yellow beads. They will put the beads one by one into tubes. They will say “3 and 4 make 7” by counting the total.
