Senses are the gateways of Knowledge. Children got a whiff of items smelling good like insence stick, dhoop, cream, perfume, soap etc. They got to touch smooth and rough objects. They heard loud and soft sounds. They tasted sweet and salty eatables.
Simple experiments were performed like:
Close your eyes. Can you smell the insence stick? -Yes
Close your ears. Can you smell? - Yes
Close your nose. Can you still smell? - No
Close your eyes and taste it. How does it taste. Is it sweet or salty.
Touch the leaf and a piece of stone. How does it feel? Rough or smooth?
Is a car horn loud or soft? Is chirping of a sparrow loud or soft?
Inference- We smell with our nose. We see with our eyes. We hear with our ears. We feel with our skin. We taste with our tongue.
Tips for parents: Ask your child about good and bad smelling objects, loud and soft sound, rough and smooth objects, salty, sweet and sour eatables.
