Earth Day Pledge

On the occasion of Earth Day, students of Pre Primary took a pledge to save earth.

Relationship between addition and subtraction

A situation was created with students for the relationship between addition and subtraction. They were told that 5 students are in a queue to get their notebook checked and 3 students join in, then how many total students are there in the queue? If the first 3 got their notebook checked and went back to their seat, then how many are left in the queue? 

Counting in ten frame

To test the students knowledge of numbers, ten frame activity was conducted with Stage 1 learners. A number was called out and the learners have to build that amount on their ten frame using counters. Learners filled the first row of five first and then the rest. 

Odd and even numbers Class 2

Odd and even numbers concept done. Students were given number flash cards and were told to stand in a line. Other students had to read aloud the number in order. And also tell whether the number is odd or even by looking at the ones place.  Later the students rearranged themselves to make a new number. 

Decomposing numbers Class 2

The concept of decomposing numbers to stage 3 learners was given through an activity using base 10 blocks. Learners were given certain numbers and they had to make that numbers using the blocks. 

Building ten frame sets Class 1
