BEFORE AND AFTER NUMBERS

 As a part of maths curriculum, the concept of before and after numbers was incorporated through an activity. The students chose one number from 1-15 and wrote it down on a paper. Questions were asked like "what will come before 9?", so the student with 8 number card will say, "I will come before 9". Likewise questions were asked for all numbers.

 

SORTING TOYS IN DIFFERENT WAYS (VENN DIAGRAM)

As a part of maths curriculum, students sorted their toys in different ways to understand the concept of venn diagram. Toys were sorted on the basis of colours, material, type and so on. The students also drew the venn diagram in their notebook post activity.

 

PARTITIONING NUMBERS

 As a part of Maths Curriculum, the concept of Partitioning Numbers were taught using arrow cards. Students were asked to make numbers using arrow cards. For example- to make number 46 they took a 40 arrow number card and a 7 arrow number card. With this the concept of tens and ones was also recapitulated.

Counting in tens using blocks

As a part of Maths Curriculum, the concept of counting in tens was taught using blocks. Students used rods and blocks for it. Each big rod contained 10 blocks. They made different numbers using the same. For example, for making number 46, they took 4 rods and 6 blocks.
