As a part of Maths curriculum, concept of zero was introduced.
They were shown empty bowls and were told that if nothing is there then it is zero.
A few cards were taken and 0-5 was written on them. 6 box were taken and beads were put in the box according to the numbers. The child needs to place the number card in front of the bowls with that exact number.
For parents- Show an open hand and count down from 5 to 0, folding in the fingers until you just show a fist- emphasise that this shows zero fingers.
