Odd and even numbers Class 2

Odd and even numbers concept done. Students were given number flash cards and were told to stand in a line. Other students had to read aloud the number in order. And also tell whether the number is odd or even by looking at the ones place.  Later the students rearranged themselves to make a new number. 

Decomposing numbers Class 2

The concept of decomposing numbers to stage 3 learners was given through an activity using base 10 blocks. Learners were given certain numbers and they had to make that numbers using the blocks. 

Building ten frame sets Class 1

To test the students knowledge of numbers, building set activity was conducted with Stage 2 learners. A number was called out and the learners have to build that amount on their ten frame using counters. Learners filled the first row of five first and then the rest. 

Coins

 The concept of money was given through actual Indian currency. The students were shown various coins and notes and were told the value of it. 

Making fossils

The concept of fossils was given through an activity in which students took imprint of leaf on clay.
