Making Acute, Obtuse and Right Triangles

The concept of angles was given through an activity in which students of class 2 made acute, obtuse and right triangle using toothpick. 

CARVING DINOSAURS TEETH

Students enjoyed carving the teeth of dinosaurs using clay/dough. They made sharp teeth for meat eating dinosaurs and flat teeth for plant eating dinosaurs.

 

MAKING DINOSAUR HABITAT

 Learning it as the habitat of the dinosaur, swamp making activity was conducted. Students enjoyed making a swamp with mud, clay, plants and toy dinosaur.

Fractions

 The concept of fractions were given through origami sheets. The students folded the sheet and shaded a few parts of it and wrote the fractions.

Light and Shadow

 As a part of Science Curriculum, lights and shadows concept was given through a flashlight activity in which students formed their own shadow using a flashlight.
