NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY celebration in class 2 on 22.12.20

National Mathematics day was organised in PS Cambridge International , DAVPS Pushpanjali Enclave to celebrate the birthday of Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan, the great mathematical genius who made exemplary contribution to Mathematics.

The Mathematics day was celebrated with objective of creating awareness about importance of mathematics in day to day life situation and also to create students interest in studying the Mathematics.

Students decoded a secret code by solving addition and subtraction equation.. The students participated in the activity with great zeal and enthusiasm and enjoyed the programme.

Students made spider web using different shapes with straws. The students participated in the activity with great zeal and enthusiasm and enjoyed the programme.

Class 2- Mathematics day activity was conducted. A decoder question sheet was provided. Students had to solve the questions and decode the secret code.

Class2- Unit-7 workbook page 41 and 44 was discussed in class. Practice self check question on page 88-89 in learners book.

Class 2- Difference between time was done. Page 86 of learners book. Q-1 of page 87 done. Practice the rest of parts of Q-1 as discussed in class.

Making of Calendar

As a part of Maths Curriculum, Topic- Reading a calendar, students made a calendar for the month of December. They marked various events in it for eg, christmas day, their test day, their birthday, the day the were making calendar. They answered questions based on the calendar.
