PS MATHS- Rectangle shape activity conducted. Practice page 23 in book. Keep cutouts of all shapes (Square, circle, rectangle, triangle, oval, diamond, star and heart).
CLASS 2 MATHS- Symmetry activity conducted. Make 5 shapes with symmetry and paste in notebook. Keep painting colours, thread for tomorrow's activity. If you do not have painting colours, you can mix turmeric in water.
CLASS 1 SCIENCE- Unit1.4- Rocks and the environment new words discussed in class.
GRAVEL- Small pieces of rocks
EXPLOSIVES- A material that will blow things apart
QUARRY- A place where the surface rocks are removed so that rock from just below the surface can be dug out
MINE- Hole dug out to extract rocks or minerals
ROCK- A hard material that comes from the Earth's surface
STONES- Small rocks
SAMPLE- A piece of material
SWIRL- Make a liquid spin
WATERPROOF- A material that does not let water through
