As a part of English and Science curriculum, Musical instruments activity was conducted. Musical instruments can be plucked down, blown, hit or scraped to make a sound. At this stage, the learners do not need to know that a sound is caused by something vibrating, but they do need to understand cause and effect. For example, If I pluck guitar strings, they can make a sound.
Exploring instruments allows learners to experiment with actions, sounds and how actions have an impact on sound.
For parents: Let the child play any instrument at home. Encourage discussion about how they make a sound and the different sounds they can make.
