As a part of Maths Curriculum, Topic- Reading a calendar, students made a calendar for the month of December. They marked various events in it for eg,gurupurab, diwali, their birthday, the day the were making calendar. They answered questions based on the calendar.
Students of class 1 were asked to take out their baby photo and compare themselves with it. They discussed the similarities and differences.
Students were divided into 3 groups and each group made a different toy from the material available at home.
As a part of maths curriculum, topic- 3D shapes, activity of making cube was conducted. Students made cube using dough/clay and matchsticks. From this activity they got to know that 3D shapes occupy space.
Toys have always been the child's favourite,and learning while playing has been the best way to incorporate any concept.Students of Pre school learnt about the meaning of the words tall ,short and also learnt about making a bridge with the building blocks.
