NUMBER FLASH CARDS

 Students of Pre school made their own number flash cards. On side of the card they wrote the number and on the back side they made that number of objects. These flash cards will be used for activities in future.

Asking questions about speed

 As a part of science curriculum, the students made a card with a question written on speed. They then asked the question with their classmates.

FLOATING AND SINKING

As a part of curriculum,students of pre school performed an activity of float and sink with easily available objects at home.

Number search in newspaper

 The students of pre school were given an activity to take a newspaper and search for the numbers 1-9 in it. This activity helped in recognition of numbers as well as increased concentration.

VRIKSHABANDHAN AND JANAMASHTMI CELEBRATION

All days have specific semblance to the pattern of life we lead.When it is Rakshbandhan, it is the bond of love , care and protection that brothers and sisters promise to each other

How about living it in another way as well!

The students of Pre school virtually celebrated Vrikshabandhan (Rakshabandhan) and tied a ribbon/thread to the plant strenghtening their bond with nature. Little enthusiatic children along with their classmates and teachers of the class tied ribbons/ thread to the plants individually. They hugged the plant and said' You can trust us, we would care for you and look after you'. Children enjoyed the activity and understood the relevance of it.
Children also celebrated the birth of lord Krishna- Janamashtmi. They were dressed as little radhas and Krishnas. Here's wishing everyone a very Happy Rakshabandhan and Janamashtmi. 

Paper rocket launcher

 The concept that the forces can make things move and make things stop was given through an activity. The students made their own rocket, then used a small push and a big push to launch it.
