It was so much fun to act like a moving car and sound like a motor bike and so was to fly like an aeroplane. Children got to gain and share information about common means of transport in a fun way.

A fun road- Dramatisation

Play is an innate tendency and toys are the weakness of Kids. Dramatisation of road scene using toys made learning of Traffic Rules and names of vehicles of land transport smooth and swift.

Down came an engine

While the cars and trucks ran on roads, the engines and trains of our little pre schoolers ran on a track. 

Traffic Rules

Lets be safe on roads.

Cross on the Zebra crossing.

And follow the rules

Stop at the red light

Wait at yellow light.

and Go at green light.

In a jungle there was an apple tree. Many animals lived near it. One day an alligator came there with an axe in his hand. He wanted to cut the apple tree. The animals got very angry. The bear used a bow to shoot arrows on the alligator. Little ant and squirrel threw apples on the alligator. Seeing this, the alligator got scared and ran away.

Bala was a good girl. She quickly got ready for the school. She took breakfast with her father. She had bread and butter. She took a banana from the basket. A butterfly came towards the dining table and a bird was looking at it. Her brother Baboo was a lazy boy. He kept the bucket under the tap and started taking bath. His shoes were lying in a box and he had kept his shoe-brush on a shelf. Bala's friend Bunty was playing with his friend baby bear. Bunty threw a ball and baby bear hit it with his bat. His school bag, bottle and books were lying on the ground. Near the house there was a lake. A person tied two balloons with the fence and then sat in the boat. One balloon went up in the sky. Honk! Honk! the school bus came and Bala and Bunty went to the  school.

It was Cuckoo cat's birthday. She took out her old clothes and wore a new dress which was lying in her cupboard. Coco, the crow gave her a toy car. Dodo dog brought a cake for her . They put candles on the cake. Her friend camel came with many colours and a beautiful card. Candy, the bear clicked many photographs with his camera. Everyone wore beautiful caps. As Cuckoo cat cut her cake, everybody clapped and sang "Happy Birthday to you....." Hearing this the bird came out of the cage and started dancing. Everybody ate custard and drank coca-cola.

Dimple came out of her room quickly keeping the door open. The doormat was lying in front of the door. She had a doll wearing a dotted dress. Dimple sat in the lawn where Dippy dog was playing the drum and ducks were dancing. Dimple kept her papers on the desk and started drawing the picture of a duck. Her daddy was having dinner on the dining table. A dish with some vegetables was on the table. After the dinner, Dimple and her daddy were planning to play a game with the dice.

Eraj was a baby elephant. He used to exercise everyday. He was also fond of making colourful envelopes. Nearby, a hen used to live with her chicks. One day when the hen was eating grains, a naughty boy stole her eggs. On seeing this, the elephant started shouting loudly. The naughty boy got frightened and ran away in an engine.

It was a holiday. Fardeen and his sister Fatima had come for a picnic. They sat near the fence across the river. There were many flowers around. Fardeen took out fruits, plate and a fork from the basket. They both were having fun with a funnel and water. Fardeen saw a fox sitting near the river. The fox caught the fish with a fishing-rod. a frog came out of the bushes and requested the fox not to eat the fish. Fardeen showed a 'no-fishing' flag to the fox and requested him not to catch a fish. The fox put the fish back into the river. Fardeen was very happy and gave all his fruits to the fox.

Independence Day And Janamashtmi Celebration continued

Children savoured tri colour food and prepared collage of our National Symbols thus learning about them. Art and craft activity of pasting matki and bansuri was thoroughly enjoyed.
