Rain Dance Party

Rain Dance is a great blessing after the summer heat. The scorching sun and extreme heat made life unbearable not only for humans but also for animals and plants. So, to beat the heat of the summer, a"Rain Dance Party" was held. All the little tiny tots were looking very dashing with their colourful swimming costume. The multi-hued costumes and the bright-eyed, smiling faces of the children infused the atmosphere with energy and fun. Everyone looked so fresh, talented. Little rock stars of Primus danced to the thrilling music.

A brain storming activity where the kids tell where the particular object/picture belongs. For eg. The Sun belongs in the sky

The kids traced on the dotted curved lines in anti-clockwise direction from top to bottom.

 

 

MOTHER'S DAY PICTURES

My family- Mummy Daddy Day

Understanding roles of Mummy and Daddy, concept of Family, Parents and grandparents through role play were given a theatre exposure. Boys dressed up in Papa's shirt, girls adorned mumma's dupatta. Some wore white dupatta for daadi's role and spectacle for daadu's role. Fun and Learning going hand in hand

Mommy mommy,

And a great big kiss.

Mothers hold a special place in the hearts of their own adorable kids. Kids need to acknowledge and value all the love showered by mothers on them. To reciprocate to all the adulations, the children prepared Mother's Day greeting cards and a badge for their mothers and learnt to wish HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

 

 

Olfactory Sense

Senses are the gateways of Knowledge. Children got a whiff of items smelling good like insence stick, dhoop, cream, perfume, soap etc.

Simple experiments were performed like:

Close your eyes. Can you smell the insence stick? -Yes

Close your ears. Can you smell? - Yes

Close your nose. Can you still smell? - No

Inference- We smell with our nose

Tips for parents: Ask your child about good and bad smelling objects.
